About Us
With great pride
our family has always been living at the
center of the beautiful land of Tuscany. We deeply love our land and our
ancestors have taught us to respect,
preserve and enhance it, so it was for the Borghetto.
Leaving next to il Borghetto we have played in this area when we were little, our parents took us walking along the Via Francigena to San Gimignano and for us this villa was a magical and mysterious place for games and raids, wrapped in the brush, after being abandoned for decades.
We grew up with
the dream of bringing the villa to its
original splendor one day and finally after 3 years of long work and
restoration it came true. Everyone of the family has brought his own strengths
and abilities: Sandra - irreplaceable pillar as a decorator, Riccardo and
Nicola as labor force and all the members including mama without fear of fatigue. The task was tough
and a big challenge but now the satisfaction of being able to welcome our
guests in the place we love is priceless.
We have been living this wonderful adventure together for more than 10 years already and for us it is as if was the first day. We are lucky to meet so many people from different places and to share with them our traditions, our culture and our origin.
