A late review... We spent a week at the lovely il Borghetto last August. It was everything we expected and more. It is even better than the pictures and everyone are so friendly. We keep recommending it to everyone we meet. We will definitely come back soon. Thank you Nicola for the recommendations for restaurant l'antica scuderia, it was apparently the perfect location for a proposal.

We just wanted to thank Simona, Sandra, Riccardo and Nicola for the fabulous week we spent at their villa. Their friendliness, hospitality, (directions) amazing food, great wine selections and wonderful accommodations all exceeded our expectations! We have run out of adjectives to describe the experience which certainly was the highlight of our trip. We hope to one day return to take in their breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. Je rentre à l'instant d'une semaine passée à Il Borghetto, le cadre est magnifique, les appartements sont décorés avec goût et très spacieux. Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et réservent une délicieuse cuisine lors de leurs repas à ne pas manquer! La situation est idéale! C'est un lieu très agréable pour découvrir la Toscane!

We had a magnificant stay in Sept 2010 with our friends. The villa rooms were exceptional, large and comfortable. The villa is extremely clean and the staff are absolutley the best. Simone, Sandra, Nicola, and Ricardo were so nice it was like family. The meals prepared by moma were the best we had in 4 weeks in Italy. If you are looking for Tuscany...go to this location and you have found it...sun, grape vines, olive trees, boar, pheasant, hunters, and peace. Located 8 minutes down the dusty road to San Gimi.. location is perfect. We miss them all, and Sandra can even sing...amazing. When we go back to the area we will go back to this wonderful location. A glass of Chianti, cheese, sopressata, the view, the perfect hosts..impossible to find a better place. Thanks for the time of our lives.

I was part of a group of 9 people who stayed for 2 weeks in September/October 2010. Before booking, I had studied your website on many occasions and found everything enchanting but the reality was, incredibly, even better. I agree with everything everyone else on the guestbook has said about the views, accommodations, food, and can only rave about the incredible courtesy, kindess and hospitality of your family - especially lovely Mama, to whose awe-inspiring cooking skills I can only pay homage. I did not want to leave. I hope very much to return. I am torn between raving abut this place to all and sundry, and selfishly wanting to keep it to myself so that it is not spoiled.
