Just want to say thank you for opening up a new Old World to us. What a wonderful place and what a superb establishment you run to supplement the experience. You are all such hard working people! The quality and care of your family atmosphere accelerated the much needed de-stressing. And what can we say about the Villa itself? Simply great, the location, superb, the atmosphere so relaxing, the service - exeptional! Thank you again for a wonderful holiday, one we intend to repeat next year, or earlier!

I couldn't recommend Il Borghetto highly enough. The location is brilliant, magnificent Tuscan countryside within easy access of wonderful San Gimignano. The apartments are all very different in size shape and outlook, but all are delightful and beautifully decorated. We couldn't wait for the restarant nights, the food was to die for! Sandra and Simona and the boys couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I will be recommending Il Borghetto.

Dear Simone, Ricardo, Sandra & Nicola. we really had a wonderful holiday, and many thanks for your kindness, and all the useful tips as we did some great excursions, for example to Porto San Stefano. The food was excellent and we will try to make some recipies at home. We hope to come back some time!

Our week in IL Borghetto was the highlight of our trip to Italy. When you plan a trip Tuscany IL Borghetto is the place you want to stay. Simone, Ricardo, Sandra, Nicola and Mama are host that know how to make the trip a time to remember. Their friendliness and helpfulliness made our visit delightful. IL Borghetto is very convenient to other towns in Tuscany and we hope to return in the future. Ann & Billy McQueen

Il Borghetto offre une excellente situation par rapport à Firenze , Sienna , San Gimignano,Volterra, Badia, Castellina ; au Borghetto, le logement est soigné et décoré avec goût; environnement calme durant notre séjour en septembre dans un cadre naturel superbe; la cuisine de la Mamma est à conseiller ; bref d'excellentes vacances passées en Toscane et une bonne adresse pour y séjourner grâce à un accueil chaleureux et amical au Borghetto.

Our next door neighbours recommended Il Borghetto to us when we were planning our holiday in Italy. We were late getting to make the booking and were delighted when we could be accomodated. There were four of us (myself, my husband, my brother and his wife). We were more than impressed when we arrived, despite the glowing reviews our neighbours had provided. Everything was better than we had imagined. Our apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated and well outfitted for our comfort. We were well located for our day trips to Cinque Terre, Cortona, Sienna, to wineries and of course nearby San Giminano. (We will see Florence next time!)The grocery store was very handy in Poggibonsi which was great so we didn't have to waste a lot of time on groceries. It must be mentioned how helpful and friendly our hosts were. Sandra, Nicolas, Simona and Ricardo were always available to help us with planning our day trips and to help with anything we needed. It is apparent they love thir work and care about their guests. But the best thing was dinner at the Villa!!!We had two of our all time best meals there. We jsut had to walk out our door and we were there. On the first evening we were able to dine 'al fresco' enjoying the spectacular view while we were treated to our first culinary delight. The second meal was very appropriately on the last evening of our stay. This time we dined in the wine cellar. We had so much fun meeting other guests and listening to Sandra's incredible C.D. while we feasted again on another fabulous meal. What a wonderful way to end our stay. We would stay at Il Borghetto again in a heartbeat and happily recommend it to anyone going to Tuscany.

I just wanted to drop you a belated note from Australia , we got back on the 25th July after having had a wonderful holiday. We just wanted to thank you and Nicola, Ricardo and Simone for making our stay memorable. We so enjoyed staying with you the accommodation was wonderful, the cuisine superb and the company delightful. We have such fond memories of Il Borghetto and hope to return one day. You truly have a special beautiful villa in a breathtaking location and have created a wonderful restful haven for your guests.
