Il Borghetto is located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside in a privileged position for visiting and discovering the beautiful land of Tuscany and San Gimignano.
We are sitting atop a hill 4 km away from the medieval village of San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The location is central and strategic as it is close to all the major centers of interest in Tuscany and at the same time immersed in the quiet of the countryside.
You can therefore enjoy the peace and tranquility of a place far from inhabited centers but at the same time, you can make the most of the convenience of being able to reach cities of art and tourist places in a short time. Volterra, Siena, Florence, and the sea along the coast are easily reachable with a few hours driving.
Despite its position immersed in the countryside you can reach San Gimignano on foot with a pleasant walk that starts directly from the Villa, or you can count on the nearby presence of dairies, delicatessens, supermarkets and local markets to do some really tasty and all-Tuscan shopping.

by Car
From the North:
take the A1 motorway from Florence toward Rome , exit at Firenze Impruneta, take the Florence-Siena superhighway for Siena. Exit at Poggibonsi Nord and at the roundabout follow the signs for San Gimignano. At the next roundabout continue to follow the signs for San Gimignano and travel 4 Km on the SP 1. Turn right at the sign indicating CORTENNANO - PIETRAFITTA and continue for exactly 2 km on this dirt track until the entrance to the property "IL BORGHETTO" on your right hand side.
From the South:
at Siena, take the Florence-Siena superhighway toward Florence and exit at Poggibonsi Nord, at the roundabout follow the signs for San Gimignano. At the next roundabout continue to follow the signs for San Gimignano and travel 4 Km on the SP 1. Turn right at the sign indicating CORTENNANO - PIETRAFITTAand continue for exactly 2 km on this dirt track until the entrance to the property "IL BORGHETTO" on your right hand side.
