Food and wine experiences are one of the unmissable nuances our region offers, a long-standing tradition of excellence expressed through dishes, recipes, and distinctive aromas. Guests of Borghetto have numerous opportunities to discover and deepen their knowledge of Tuscan food and wine culture, particularly that of the San Gimignano area.

Borghetto collaborates with the Cultural Association Club La Stanza del Duca, whose aim is to enhance and promote the local culture through a series of targeted and engaging initiatives available to members.

Among the Club’s initiatives, cultural food and wine experiences stand out, such as themed dinners and cooking classes designed to spread and deepen knowledge of gastronomic traditions, guiding participants on a sensory journey celebrating local flavors and regional wines.

Events are often hosted in the villa’s ancient cellars or on the panoramic terrace, evocative settings where history and tradition merge to enhance the sensory experience of taste and aroma within historic spaces that allow guests to fully immerse themselves in our culture.

The Club La Stanza del Duca is also committed to promoting knowledge of Tuscany and San Gimignano through initiatives dedicated to:

discovering native plants; storytelling of the territory with its legends and traditions; insights into the museums of San Gimignano and its surroundings; promotion of local craftsmanship; explorations of ancient and contemporary art; support for local bookstores; music and cultural gatherings that enliven the town.
