The territory of San Gimignano is well known for the variety of its grape varieties: in addition to white wines, it also offers excellent red wines, just like the rest of Tuscany.
For wine lovers, tastings are among the most authentic experiences to enjoy: you will be able to visit wineries alongside true industry professionals and sample local and regional excellences.
During the tastings, you will also have the opportunity to sample extra virgin olive oil, usually accompanied by a slice of Tuscan bread to prepare the traditional bruschetta. Extra virgin olive oil is one of the main ingredients of Tuscan cuisine, enriching dishes and recipes for centuries.
The Club La Stanza del Duca recommends and arranges winery visits for outstanding Wine & Oil tasting experiences: from the renowned reds of Chianti Classico, to the strength of Brunello di Montalcino, and the elegance of Nobile di Montepulciano, as well as other fruity enological gems.
