At Il Borghetto we believe that the best way to "explore" and get to know a place is to taste local products, good traditional dishes cooked with love, the wines produced with passion and everything that comes from the territory.
For this reason it’s truly our pleasure to let you get to know the Tuscan way, or rather the way our family does it, by cooking Mamma Silvana’s dishes for 3 nights a week, getting involved in our cooking classes where you will learn to make fresh pasta and other recipes, or have fun while tasting wines and extra virgin olive oil from our region.
We organize tastings in the nearby cellars of San Gimignano and in the best estates in Tuscany. We are also at your disposal for a good cappuccino in the morning or a few drinks during the day.

For us, seeing Mamma Silvana in the kitchen, busy around her stove, is like a ritual that takes us back in time to when we were children. On Sundays at lunchtime, intrigued by the delicious aromas that came from the kitchen, we ran to pots and pans looking for a quick taste. Bread bits soaked in tasty sauces, spoonfuls of "stolen" soup directly from the pot were good and genuine flavors for us, in which we felt all the love of those who had prepared them.
It is precisely this sensation that is still experienced today when tasting Mamma Silvana's recipes. In just one bite you can taste all the warmth of home and the flavors of Tuscany.
